  • Some facilities have recently been built and some are currently being built

    True, Brazilian government is truly sprucing up the country for these sport events. In Rio they are even adapting some places in the favelas for either accommodations or some games. Six matches of the World Cup will be played in Fortaleza, capital of Ceara, in Northeastern Brazil, and also here the municipality is renewing and building all districts, the city will be stunning by 2014 😉

    Hi Angela, sounds great that you can actually see the development taking place in Rio and Foraleza. Its very smart of Brazil to keep everything in one central area like Rio De Janero, as this makes it a lot more convenient for the tourists and locals.

    I will try find out some more information about the 2014 Brazil World Cup.

    One thing you said that sounds very interesting is that the Favelas are being used for accomodation and games. That will be fun
